HIP Fall Training Kick-Off 2019
HIP kicked off its 11th year in Miami’s high schools on September 11, 2019! Over 250 student board members and faculty sponsors came to the UM Watsco Center for a full day of HIP training and bonding. The day concluded with an interactive panel of amazing mental health professionals who discussed topics such as depression, anxiety, suicide prevention and stress. The HIP student peer health educators are excited to lead their HIP programs at their 58 high schools, teaching 34,000 ninth graders during this year alone!
